Paths, forest and beach – a paradise for dog paws
Lots of space for running, sniffing and walking together
The forest around the hotel is an ideal place for long, adventure-scented walks. Just behind the doorstep, forest trails begin. There are also plenty of places where you can run on the sand and dip your paws in the water.
Where to go to the sea with your dog?
Here are the most important walking routes and places worth visiting with your dog near the resort.
- Dog Beach (entrances L-M): approximately 40 minutes on foot or 10 minutes by car. A dedicated off-leash area under the owner's supervision, offering a wide stretch of sand and gentle access to the Baltic Sea.
- Promenade and Pier in Międzyzdroje: about 20 minutes on foot. A paved walking route (leash required) with numerous bowls of fresh water at restaurants.
- Dog Run: around 10 minutes on foot. A large fenced area with several obstacles for dogs.
- Resort surroundings: Around the resort there are forest trails running through forests managed by Nadleśnictwo Międzyzdroje. They can be freely walked on provided the dog is kept on a leash (a legal requirement in state forests).
Beach for dogs
Where paw in paw to the beach
Although during the summer season most beaches are reserved for bipedal sunbathers, a special place has been created in Międzyzdroje for you and your dogs. Between entrances "L" and "M" at 80 Gryfa Pomorskiego Street, there is a dog beach where your pets can freely run on the sand and splash in the waves. Outside the summer season, when the tourist crowds lessen, the entire coast becomes open for walks with your dog.
Safe holidays with your dog by the sea
A caretaker's guide
- Fresh water at hand: Drinking seawater can cause serious stomach problems and dehydration in dogs. Always carry a bottle of fresh drinking water with you.
- Protection from hot sand: Heated sand can burn a dog’s paw pads. Use the cooling mat provided in our welcome package and choose walks in the early morning or evening.
- Grooming after a day at the beach: After returning to the apartment, rinse the fur and paws to remove salt and grains of sand and avoid skin irritation.
- Veterinary assistance: In case of emergencies, 24-hour veterinary clinics offering prompt assistance operate in Międzyzdroje and nearby Świnoujście.
A FEW RULES TO MAKE IT PLEASANT FOR EVERYONE
- Leash and control: Even during a walk, it's worth having a leash at hand. A new environment can be exciting for the dog, and the leash will ensure safety and comfort for both you and others.
- Cleaning up after your pet: Let's keep our beautiful coast clean. Bring waste bags with you and use the trash bins available in many places.
- Avoiding dunes and reserves: The dunes and areas of Wolin National Park are protected. For the sake of nature and your pets' safety, avoid these areas during walks.
By remembering these simple rules, you will ensure unforgettable moments by the sea for yourself and your dog, full of joy, fun, and shared discovery of the Baltic's charms.

Is it possible to visit Wolin National Park with a dog?
Key information
It is not allowed to enter Wolin National Park with a dog – there is an absolute ban on bringing animals throughout the protected area. This means that you cannot visit places such as the European Bison Show Farm or the famous cliff viewpoints with your pet.
Fortunately, there is a great alternative right nearby! Just beyond the park boundary stretches the forests of the Międzyzdroje Forest District, where walking with your dog is fully permitted.
⚠️ Attention: The border between the national park and the state forest can be hard to see on the ground. Before setting off, make sure on the map or information boards that you are within the Forest District area (and remember to keep your dog on a leash).
