This horseshoe-shaped lake is a relic of the Ice Age. Surrounded by the forests of Wolin National Park, it is 8 meters deep and holds just as many secrets. Walking along the paths around the waterbody, you will spot beaver lodges – masters of natural engineering! In summer, dragonflies dance above the water, and in autumn, beech leaves paint the surface gold. In summer, you might also encounter the black stork – a bird so rare that even local guides speak of it in whispers. Note: if you hear a splash at midnight, it’s not a ghost – it’s the otter’s nightly patrol.
